Astou B. Ndiaye is an african born in Senegal, a senegalese international basketball player, 3 times african cup and WNBA champion.. She started with the Senegalese team in 1989 with which she will make her first participation in the Sydney Olympic Games in Australia in 2000.

In 2003, she won the title of WNBA Champion with Detroit Shock before joining the Italian league with Famila, Schio and then Phard de Napoli where she won the Italian women’s basketball championship.

Astou is an activist and an advocate for women empowerment through education.
